Incredible, stupendous meal which by far was the best of the entire New York trip. This beautiful little restaurant is located right next to Times Square but completely blew me away. Greeted by freshly baked bread and olive oil the service was quick and friendly. There are two floors and this place seems to be a locals joint as we were the only tourists at the time of the meal. The menu covers all the French classics without trying to be pretentious. Food arrived fairly quickly and was so good, beef medalitons were perfectly cooked with a beautifully dressed salad. My kids ate EVERYTHING on their plates and everything was delivered quickly and professionally. Expect to pay around 40 usd per dish, but I thought this was totally worth the money. Dinner was great! I went here two nights in a row and ordered the exact same thing. I got the steak au pauve and it was perfect! I ordered a double salad instead of salad and fries and the second night they sent me double fries instead of a salad. They did give me salad after I mentioned the mistake. The first night, they burnt something in the kitchen, the fire alarm went off and the fire department ended up coming. They didn't have us leave the restaurant but it was very loud. I would still go back and enjoy the experience, even with the small issues I had. You should definitely check this place out
I don't leave full reviews very often but this place exceeded any expectations I've had walking into any restaurant. I've dined at establishments where the final bill was double what I paid here, with service that was half the quality of Le Marais'. The employees here really do go above and beyond to make the experience enjoyful and pleasant. The food is great for the price, and the alcohol matches what you'd pay at other establishments in Manhattan. If you're going to drink multiple glasses of wine, I'd get a half bottle because it will save you alot of what two single glasses would cost you. All in all 100 percent recommend this place and I will be coming back.
